You’ll be at the core of developing, deploying, and optimizing the AI models that power Solva’s claims automation platform. Our team values pragmatic problem-solving, explainability, and building AI that integrates into real business workflows — not black-box demos. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and design to build AI capabilities that streamline claims processes and detect high-risk scenarios like fraud and leakage.

From building document understanding pipelines to optimizing model inference in production, you’ll have the opportunity to shape Solva’s AI systems as we scale with global insurers.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and deploy AI models that automate claims data extraction, pre-existing condition detection, and fraud identification.
• Design and build scalable ML pipelines for unstructured data (documents, images, PDFs).
• Work closely with engineers to integrate AI outputs into product workflows and ensure reliable model performance in production.
• Collaborate on improving model accuracy, auditability, and explainability.
• Continuously monitor and optimize inference speed, precision, and robustness.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience building and deploying ML models into production systems.
• Proficient in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
• Experience working with unstructured data — OCR, NLP, document understanding is a plus.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and cloud-based ML pipelines (AWS/GCP).
• Pragmatic approach to AI — you understand the balance between perfect models and real-world constraints.
• Bonus: experience in insurance, RegTech, or other heavily regulated industries.
